Builds and piece pools

Active modules, block-by-block expansion, reserve storage, and piece sources.

Active and stored modules

A module participates in battle only when every cell lies in unlocked build space. Inactive modules can remain on the build board after battles. The reserve rack provides five additional slots. A module partly outside unlocked space is entirely inactive.

A normal adventure begins with an empty build. At the base, choose modules in two successive rounds or skip collection. The bottom two rows begin unlocked.

Expanding with coins

Hold an adjacent 2×2 block to unlock it at the displayed price. Adjacency means sharing an edge with unlocked space. Central blocks generally cost less, and higher blocks cost more. The maximum area is 10×20. Boss victories do not automatically add rows.

Unlocked empty space does not increase damage: place complete active modules inside it. Expansion, module purchases, and queue upgrades use the same coins. See Shops and coins.

Build power

Placement damage per cell = floor(active module cells / 10) × 0.5, capped at 10.

Fewer than ten active cells give zero; twenty give 1. Count only fully active modules, not reserve modules or empty unlocked cells. This affects placement damage, not every material’s line-clear damage. See Damage.

Module and material sources

Active modules enter battle generation. Fixed-material modules retain their material; modules without a fixed material draw from the material pool. Biome base shapes and materials, adventure modifiers, and encounter modifiers also contribute. The build board is not the only source.

Use the map overview to inspect module and material pools. Repeated entries represent shares, not a guarantee about the next piece.

Rewards and storage

Module rewards use a cycling shape bag. Only collecting an option consumes its shape. Candidates do not repeat shapes while enough distinct shapes remain. Ordinary reward rounds alternate between modules without and with fixed materials.

Ordinary rewards can find storage on the build board when the reserve rack is full. Shop purchases require an empty reserve slot. Rearrange or sell modules when space is insufficient. Inactive modules remain yours for later use.
